How do we begin?
Use our contact form and tell us about the special event you want to host, or you can reserve a seat for one of our tours through our online reservation system. If you're not quite sure of what you want, looking at photos will help. The more you can describe yourself, your function, and your needs, the more easily we can serve you. After browsing our site, please fill out our reservation form and we will promptly give you a call and email you back with specific pricing information.
How much does it cost to charter the boat?
We will email you specific pricing and menu options based on the information you provide. Charter fees range depending on the port, catering, and whether it is a weeknight, weekday, or weekend. Normally, for a private charter, there is a fee to rent the boat (anywhere from $500 - $3000) plus menu, bar, and . In , there is of course a service charge and tax. NO BROKER FEES!
All inclusive price?
Sometimes the boat will combine the entire price all in one. Package deals are available. Parties, weddings and corporate events are priced differently. Please call for a quote.
How do I reserve and secure a date?
First, tell us which dates you're looking for. If you have a total budget or a budget per person, we can direct you more easily. We check the availability so we can put a hold on a date for you. A hold ensures that if someone else wants that date, you have the first right of refusal. To secure a date, we send you a contract to sign and require a deposit. Balances are paid in full 14 days before your charter.
How much per person, approximately?
Tickets on our open NY Harbor tours range from $15-$25 per person on daily cruises. Special events are approximately $50-$100 per person. Please call ahead for an exact quote on a private party.
How long do the charters last?
Our daily cruises are for 3 hours. Private parties are generally 4 hours but can be custumized to your needs exactly. We give you 1/2 hour to board and 1/2 hour to disembark.
Where does the ship go?
Our ship cruises the Hudson and East Rivers, past the skyscrapers of Manhattan including the Empire State Building. You'll also see the Intrepid Air-Sea Space Museum, the Brooklyn Bridge, South Street Seaport and the Verrazano Narrows Bridge. How far in advance should I make reservations?
You are competing with every bride who wants her wedding on a Saturday night. If you're planning for a large group, call us as soon as possible. A few months will make it easier to accommodate all of your preferences but you never know whats available until you call.
What kind of food is served?
Our boat features a galley with food and beverages. With advance notice, we can accommodate requests for kosher meals, and we can arrange special meals for guests with allergies. Other specialty menus are available.
Can I bring my own caterer?
We can provide excellent catering, but if you require your own caterer, we are one of just a few boats who allow outside catering.
Can I bring my own alcohol (BYOB)?
No. Because of state liquor license laws, no yacht will allow you to bring your own alcohol.
Do you have DJ entertainment, flowers, tour guide, etc?
For parties, weddings, and events - this is a one stop shopping center. Our boats provide in-house DJs, and have excellent entertainment options we recommend. We also have our own house audio system so your DJ needs to only bring his music and not all the heavy equipment. Is parking available at the ship?
Yes. Paid parking is available at our pier.
How early should I arrive for my cruise?
We generally board the vessel 1/2 hour prior to the cruise, unless prior arrangements are made for special catering and florists.
Do you sail in foul weather?
Absolutely. Our ships are fully enclosed and climate-controlled for your comfort. We sail rain or shine year round.
Will I get seasick?
It's unlikely. The ship operates in Jamaica Bay, New York Harbor, the Hudson River and the East River, which are all very calm bodies of water. What's more, our ships are large and very stable, so in most cases, you can hardly tell that they're moving.
What is your smoking policy?
Smoking is not allowed in the dining room areas of our ships. However, smoking is permitted on the outer decks.
